As a child I've always desperately wanted to be an adult. Don't get me wrong I throughly enjoyed my teen years but the freedom a 20 year old gets has always held a deep desire in my heat. To start off this blog post, here is my favorite quote from Kyoko Escamilla, In Your 20's:
"Your 20's are your 'selfish' years. It's a decade to immerse yourself in every single thing possible. Be selfish with your time, and all aspects of you.Tinker with shit, travel, explore, love a lot, love a little, and never touch the ground."

Outfit Details!

My Velvet Spot Dress is From Bardot
Bardot is an Australian brand that I am absolutely in love with. I've bought a really cute top from them that, you will see me wear in an upcoming vacation I'll be taking. Their clothes are super high quality but a little on the pricey side. HOWEVER, if you're on a budget then, go into the sale section. You can always find AMAZING deals! This brand is definitely my goto and if you're not comfortable with online shopping, Nordstrom carries this brand.
Just like the photo I paired my dress with some strapy sandals, my Hermés bracelet, YSL bag , and Kate spade chunky studded earrings.

Dinner
My 20th birthday dinner was at Nobu.
If you're a lover of sushi and seafood like myself, this place is amazing. Nobu is such an experience, with great food, atmosphere, and service.
Their lobster, filet, sashimi, oysters, and shrimp are definitely top notch. However, to be quite honest I have had better seafood at local restaurants. When you go to Nobu you pay for the name and the experience. This said, if you get the chance definitely stop by even if its for a quick drink at the bar!
10/10 Everything!
My Acceptance
Also as a surprise gift, I found out I got into Stanford University Summer Session Program.
Honestly, if it wasn't for my parents amazing support I would have never applied. Family is so important, and there is nothing I wouldn't give for them. They made my birthday so special.
My trip to SF

Someone dear to my heart took me to San Fransisco two days later. My actual birthday day was on a Thursday, so on Saturday we had a celebration the entire day. The entire day was a complete surprise, I had no idea we were going to SF. When we got to SF, we were driving in the city to the unknown destination he was takin me, and I casually mentioned how we have to go to the Coit Tower one time. Little did I know thats exactly where he was taking me. If you haven't been, you need to go!!!! You have a 360 view of the city and its absolutely breathtaking.

For the last event of the night, he took me on a surprise gondola ride at sunset. At that moment I knew he truly knows who I am. When I found out what we were doing I was inexplicably happy. I didn't know something like that even existed in California. The Venitian hotel in Las Vegas is the only place I knew that had gondolas besides Venice, Italy of course. It was just the two of us on this lake, watching the city and the sunset. The man taking us around told us, the gondolas are originals from Venice Italy. At last, I thought the surprises were over.. but then it was time for my birthday present. It was a large frame that held a map of how the stars looked on the exact date and time I was born, and it was captioned, "your eyes and space, two never ending beauties I laid my eyes on." I was left speechless and in bliss.
